Collective teacher efficacy—the shared belief among educators that, together, they can positively influence student outcomes—is associated with a range of important outcomes for students, teachers, and schools. But collective efficacy isn’t something leaders can mandate, nor does it develop simply by asking teachers to collaborate.
From Research to Pratical Leadership Action
In this interactive online session, Dr. Jenni Donohoo will translate the research on collective teacher efficacy into practical leadership actions. Participants will examine how collective efficacy develops, why it matters, and the conditions associated with stronger collective efficacy beliefs in schools.
Participants will connect the research to their own contexts and leave with a clearer understanding of what leaders can, and cannot, do to foster collective teacher efficacy.
