About Dr. Jenni Donohoo

Dr. Jenni Donohoo is a renowned professional learning facilitator, author, researcher, and keynote speaker with over 25 years of experience leading school improvement initiatives. She has established herself as an international thought leader in educator capacity building, collaborative professional learning, and collective teacher efficacy—the shared belief among educators that their collective efforts can positively influence student learning, one of the most powerful factors impacting achievement.
Jenni holds a PhD in Educational Studies and Supervisory Officer Qualifications. Her career began as a classroom teacher, giving her firsthand insight into the daily realities educators face. This foundation drives her passion for bridging research and practice to empower teachers and leaders to create meaningful, sustainable change.
She is best known for her pioneering work on collective efficacy, equipping educators with practical tools, strategies, and protocols to build shared conviction, foster collaboration, and overcome barriers to effective implementation. Jenni has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is a five-time best-selling author, with her books translated into multiple languages.
